As an architect and engineer, it was only a matter of time before I explored the world of metal work.  What started out as a curiosity evolved into a fulfilling and rewarding enterprise.  My first work was a fireplace screen for my wife's 1800's farmhouse in Easton, Connecticut.  A visit to the Klaff's showroom in South Norwalk looking for handles turned into an opportunity to market my work.  After hundreds of creations, my time in the studio is always a welcome distraction from my formal career.

Each piece begins with a site consult with the client.  Shapes, sizes and finishes are discussed.  When necessary, templates are created and mockups are made for test fitting.  Any adjustments to the design are made before the first piece of steel is cut.
